Time Cliches On

Photo taken at the Toronto Distillery District. What's old is new; what was passed over is restored.

Time Cliches On

call it a day
to come in under the wire
tick tock
before you were the gleam in your father's eye
time might already have passed you by
do you feel the clock ticking?
tick tock
in the nick of time
better late than never
to chew the fat
since Rome wasn't built in a day
and time is running out
tick tock
no more spinning your wheels
because in the split second
time heals
all wounds time and again
time after time
tick tock
because the times
they are a changing
as old as you feel
time passes you by
tick tock
you can't stop the clock
the march of time
time waits for no man
the ravishes of time
the clock is ticking
tick tock
and it ain't a laugh a minute
and it aint just a minute
and definitely not
just a second
tick tock
don't live in the past
the future is now
as time goes by
your time is now
forever and a day
tick tock
