Perhaps its the long winter nights and the cold.I was looking over some photos in my archives and came across this one I took a couple of years ago. It didn't put me in the best mood - but then, it's probably a good thing to be disturbed at times. I didn't stay where the poem took me. And I'm guessing that's a good thing. However.... spring can't be too far away, can it?

moon rise and setting suns

the setting sun
a moon
and a dying building

brandy slowly melts
the ice it overflows
in the raised glass

i toast your perseverance

and can only hope
that growing old
need not be so lonely
